Change Management as a Success Factor in the Implementation, Scaling Up and Transfer of Digital Health & Social Care Solutions (at AAATE 2017)

SCIROCCO contributes to a satellite event on change management as success factor for scaling-up at AAATE2017 and will present the Maturity Model as a tool to manage systemic changes in health and care systems:
„Successful deployment requires deep changes in the ways of working of people, and organisations together with new care recipient relationships. In this seminar, we will assess some of the success factors related to organisational change and how these factors have been managed during the up-scaling and transfer of successful experiences. We will also look at tools that can help to understand how to support implementation, scalability and transferability of digital health and care solutions in the UK and in Europe. We will focus on experiences of person-centred technology deployment that are supporting care recipients in their self-management and independence, including remote monitoring.“

The 2017 AAATE Congress is a 5-day event about Assistive Technologies and will take place from 11-15th September 2017. The main Conference will be from 13-14th September and Satellite Events are running on the other three days (11-12th and 15th) at venues in Sheffield (UK). The 2017 Congress will address the global challenge of meeting the needs of the increasing number of people who could benefit from Assistive Technology. The congress will add to its usual breadth a focus on the translational research agenda. The programme will include contributions on topical subjects such as dementia, care robotics, universal design, sport and disordered speech.
