European Summit on Innovation for Health and Active Ageing – Transforming the future of Health and Care in Europe
This year’s event will look into how digital innovation will „Transform the future of health and care in Europe“ and will unveil a shared-vision on how the Digital Single Market can turn demographic change into an opportunity for social development and economic growth in Europe.
The 2016 Summit will build on the achievements of the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP on AHA), the Active and Assisted Living Joint Programme with Member States (AAL JP) and the EIT-KIC on Health and Active Ageing.
What’s on offer?
- A programme of workshops and plenary sessions designed to co-create a „shared vision“ amongst stakeholders and policy makers. The goal is to exchange views on what needs to happen in the next 5 years to effectively transform health and care in Europe.
- One of the largest European exhibitions of innovative technology solutions for active and healthy ageing. Showcasing some of the most advanced innovative solutions on-the-market or close to market launch in areas such as independent living, age-friendly smart homes and living environments, social robotics and integrated health and care solutions.
- A unique networking opportunity to meet policy makers, established industrial players, innovative start-ups, investors, health and care organisations, civil society organisations, public procurers and global leaders coming from the EU, Japan, USA, Canada and other regions.
The event is free-of-charge but on invitation only. The programme has been published on the event website.
