TheGlobal Conference on Integrated Care (GCIC) 2018 took place on 1-3 February 2018 in Singapore. It was an international conference that brought togetherclinicians, health and social care professionals and practitioners, andpolicymakers from around the world to share knowledge, experiences, ideas andinnovations in integrated care delivery. The conference was used as a platformto look beyond the immediate horizon, future-proof healthcare delivery, andstrengthen relationships between policymakers and public users to enablesuccessful care integration. A world-class programme of keynote lectures,plenary sessions and symposia was designed to facilitate impactful knowledgeexchange and foster fruitful dialogues with internationally renowned experts.
SCIROCCO was very proud to reach this international community. Donna Henderson, Head of International Engagement and SCIROCCO Project Coordinator, presented the objectives and findings of SCIROCCO project and featured the latest development of the self-assessment tool for integrated care. She discussed with the participants how SCIROCCO tool could help us to better understand the local context enabling the adoption and transferability of the integrated care solutions. On the background of this information, the SCIROCCO tool was tested in Singapore by two sites in order to assess their maturity for integrated care.
